We wanted to share some news on the next hot project in Barcelona! Stamina the Running Concept Store!
As with all projects, the growth is not a linear process, but still we are aiming for a launch at the end of the summer, or the start of Autumn 2025! In May the founders team formalised things with our lawyers, we are also zooming in on certain specific neighbourhoods and are visiting several high potential spots.
As you can see on the photo, the founders were up and running early on the beach front! We once again had the confirmation and saw multiple run clubs! We were lucky enough to test the Salomon Aeroglide 3 Gravel, and what a shoe! A perfect fit for urban runners!
As you probably know, May was an active month for running in Barcelona: more than 60.000 people have raced that month alone (between the 10K from Cursa Corte Ingles, the Cursa Diagonal Guardia Urbana and the Antirracista one from this last Sunday). Demonstrating once again the city moving forward having running events all year around and not just for the Half- Marathon or Marathon.
As a result, events that we thought were reserved for only a certain type of the whole runner population (half and marathon) are now backed by a series of other races all year around in Barcelona! The people touched and the amount of runners has increased significantly! Did you know that each year Barcelona has more than 200K runners participating in races within the city? On top of that we can add several trail races that are starting to gain importance around the city.
On the Stamina front, we are closing our investor round. We have found some industry veterans that are backing us. We are still on the lookout for the right investors if you are interested, we would be more than happy to share some further insights about the project.
